Great article, but I think you are missing one important detail about the Paris park: it does have a Main Street Fire Station!

Thanks a lot for the heads up Jorn ! Though I don't consider it a 4th Fire Station (lazy Imagineers you;)), i'll definitely update the article to include that important fact. Thanks again !

Great post. The one thing I’m curious about is the function of the Main Street Transportation Co. in Paris. Is it used as a store or rental location, or is it purely decorative?

It almost looks like restrooms would be located in there!

Thanks!

It really serves the purpose by which it is named. Behind its facade is a warehouse that houses all the Main Street vehicule including the cable cars no longer used in that Kingdom. I'll make an Only In article soon about Main Street Transportation Co.

Great article, but I think you are missing one important detail about the Paris park: it does have a Main Street Fire Station!

While taking a tour of the park I asked the tour guide about the Fire Station missing from the Paris park, and he was able to show me that that is not entirely true. It's just very well hidden.

Luckily I was able to find you a photo of what I mean on Flickr:

This window is located above the entrance to the Liberty Arcade and shows that this park also truly has its own Fire Station... ;-)

Also, the Main Street Transportation Co. building resembles a very familiar silhouette: the original castle of Disneyland in Anaheim!

CheriBibi -- thanks for the great post! I recently stumbled across your blog, and I must say I like your style (and the great modification of K2). This 'kingdom' niche is a very interesting one. Subscribed!
